Vintage faux red jadeite wheat motif brooch

Wheat motif brooches had been exceptionally popular throughout the 1960s to 1970s. It is also a motif we use a lot in our designs. Mainly because wheat has been our important food element since the dawn of mankind. In flower language, wheat signifies abundance, life and fertility. 

Wear this brooch with any outfit and you will never look this smart and beautiful with a dash of red.

Faux red jadeite on gold plated brass

Conditions
Very good vintage condition with signs of wear. Glue marks are showing at the back of the brooch but nothing is seen through on the surface. No scratch marks I can detect with bare eyes on the faux jadeite. 

The first seven photos show brooch in its original condition. I have since polished the brass a bit and if you enlarge the last three photos, you will probably notice a brighter gold colour.

Please take into consideration all the conditions of this vintage/antique treasure before your purchase.

Maintenance
Always store or display your vintage or antique item away from direct sunlight or humid places. Wipe with a soft dry cloth and never soak this item in water. Do not use abrasive cleaning solution unless you have expert knowledge in cleaning vintage and antique items.
