Product Care and Maintenance

Each product, whether handmade items or our vintage and antique collection, comes with a care card. Please study it carefully.

BESPOKE ITEMS

Jewellery or hairpiece products - you will occasionally find a piece of small black/grey anti-tarnish cube. Please do not take it out from the box.

Always store your items back in a jewellery box, or the box that comes with it. We suggest customers to wipe clean their items with a soft cloth from time to time. If and when possible, we use only real gold plated or 14K gold plated parts and elements. The colour may or may not become darker over time. We have been testing the products ourselves by placing them in open air, the gold just darkens a shade or two. We have been advised by material suppliers the metal should not rust. As long as you take care of them the way we suggest you to, we believe we are all good.

A lot of time we assemble all these small parts by wiring. We urge customers not to twist them with unnecessary force. Think of them as real flowers and I am sure you will not want to twist a stem or leaf.

If your item is not in use, place them back inside the box, avoid humid places and always store them in a cool, dry place. Do not attempt to spray perfume on them to avoid irrevocable chemical reaction or discolouring. oil stains. Do not use cleaning solutions other than those recommended by us. Please contact us if you need help.

Ring pillows, embroidered and beaded items - We always pack your items with a moist absorbent sachet. If after a while they become heavy, you will need to replace them on your own. Please make sure small children are kept out of reach of these sachets. However cute the little packs are, they are not toys.

To ensure longevity of your items, we highly suggest not to scratch or excessively touch the embroidered or beaded parts. (I know sometimes we can't help when we see something very beautiful we just want to constantly touch and touch and touch them). I once had a customer who just picked up a beaded product and kept scrapping off the beads with her fingernail and I was left in total shock and horror. The reply from the customer was: "I just wanted to check if they were beaded on the fabrics."

Once again, if your item is not in use, place them back inside the box, avoid humid places and always store them in a cool, dry place. Do not attempt to spray perfume on them to avoid irrevocable oil stains. Spot clean when necessary. Never soak and wash them!

VINTAGE AND ANTIQUE ITEMS

Most of the time these items are not perfect in conditions. We will list very carefully in the description when we spot any flaws. We will also post photos so you understand what conditions they are in before you decide to purchase.

Please do not use abrasive cleaning solutions. Wipe clean with a soft towel when necessary. Do not soak or wash them. Keep them in a dry, cool place and avoiding direct sunlight will prolong their lives even much longer.

PRODUCT WARRANTY

All our products come with a six months warranty. We will fix for free if your items are accidentally broken.

For jewellery items - if the situation permits and if it is safe and not causing you any danger, please pick up the remaining beads that are still in perfect conditions, contact us immediately and we will work out from there.
