About this treasure
I have a feeling this beautiful antique late Victorian/early Edwardian lily of the valley plate will warm your place and give your home a unique character.
The floral painting on the plate is so beautiful and lively, and it is quite different from all other designs during the same period.
If you were born in May like me, I am sure you will fall in love with it instantly. Even if you were not, this beautiful antique will brighten any corner.
Measures approximately 10" x 11" / 28cm x 26cm
Country of origin
Circa 1890s to 1910s
The plate has aged related crazing all over and some brown age marks are obvious to the eyes. The gold work is, however, still vibrant and amazing, even though some has worn off due to age.
There is also a small chip on the rim. It is likely to have chipped so long ago that the place has become smoothened.
