ABOUT THIS TREASURE
This beauty comes from our recent small English town antique treasure hunt.
May I call you Marie?
I was immediately drawn to this unique shape which reminds me of this particular English mantua dress (court dress) that I saw at the exhibition in the London Queen's Gallery. And speaking of mantua dresses and the Rococo period, I cannot but think about Marie Antoinette (yes I know she was the French queen). Doesn't this perfume bottle cap reminds you too of her lavish and out of this world hair style?
A truly unique piece to add to your collection. This rare beauty deserves a permanent loving new home.
